What happened with Opera (since v10.0, currently v10.53)

Hi,

what happened to Opera since version 10.
Since version 10 there are just problem, sites not running (currently version 10.53 asus.com / Support not working and many others).
Opera is using 180MB Memory and I have only the "Speed dial" open(it's not set to auto update sites).
Today I had 9 Tabs open (two videos and just normal sites, one with SSL) and I had 1,5GB memory usage, not even IE is taking so much memory.
Cpu usage spring up and down (with the 9 tabs it was about 70%)

I don't get it, what happened, with version 9 it worked everything like a charm...

So now I had to download Firefox(I hate that thing, but not more than IE) to surf the net Normally.
Opera is still my main Browser but it's very annoying to have opera and Firefox open and then go, Oh this site is not working back to Firefox.
As I see in the Forum I'm not the only one with problems, how about a "Feature Stop" and a big Maintenance release...

For the record my System:

Windows 7 64Bit
4GB Ram
AMD Athlon X2 6000+
ATI Graphics
All drivers up-to-date.
Opera Unite and Opera Turbo are not active.
Have the same problems on my second PC (it can't be a PC issue)

Even this form is not working correctly...

PLEASE bring our Stable and working Opera back...

Thanks

There is also no possibility to open any widgets with the menu "Widgets" in the menu line above the screen, but only with that panel which opens by key F4. As I have heard, earlier it was else. I like Opera and use it as my main browser, so I hope that in the next versions this trouble will be deleted.
