Labels changed names

I have just upgraded to Opera 10.53 and was surprised to find that none of my preferences had disappeared in the browse.
The only thing that had gone was the new names that I had called the labels in the opera mail.
Can I find the folder in my saved copy of all my preferences or should I have to try to remember how to change the names back again. I would prefer to know where the folder or file is that has been replaced by the upgrade so that the next time I will know what to change.
Thank you
Brenda

In Opera's program files directory, there's a locale folder. In it is a folder for your language. In that is a .lng file. Search for ="label name", replace it to what you want, save the changes and restart Opera. Is that what you mean?

Also, note that labels are just filters. You can do the same thing by creating a filter with the name you want. Then, you can right-click on the message and use "Show in" to add the message to the filter (label). The label drop-down next to the message just won't list the filter. But, you can shift + f12 -> buttons -> mail and add the "Show in" button to the mail toolbar to easily add a message to a filter.

Note: With IMAP, when you add a message to a filter, a flag with the name of the filter is added to the message so that if you use another Opera to access the account, the other Opera will automatically create the filters if they're not present. But, if the IMAP server doesn't support arbitrary flags, they might be rejected, which will cause the flags to only work for the single Opera. But, this can happen with labels too.
