[3381/6330/8347] 10.54 snapshot

They released 10.53 Friday, then just a little later released a new snapshot to play with. Actually the files are named Opera 10.53, but if 10.53 is already released then they must be 10.54 ...

Note that Haavard says they've re-enabled "pubsuffix" (verifying cookie domains) but made some other changes, so keep an eye out for a return of the NSL issues. Hopefully not, but be watching anyway. Also some attempts to fix memory issues and other stuff ... no listed known issues (does that mean they've fixed Java and foreign language input in UNIX?)

Well, I guess we'll just have to find out for ourselves ...

[Opera 10.53 build 3381]

This belongs to the Guinness Book of World Records lol.
Developement of Opera is faster than speed of light enabling time travel. We managed to go back in time.
After the release of 10.53 final we are now catching 10.53 beta. Wonder if we soonly will be able to catch a 10.53 alpha release as well.
Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve to death.
It doesn't matter whether you are a lion or a gazelle: when the sun comes up, you'd better be running.

There seems to be a problem with Silverlight. VS gave this: "Unhandled exception at 0x6c703f39 in opera.exe: 0x8013150A: 0x8013150a."

Opera has always been able to play animated GIF and APNG files.

If they don't play for you, hit F12 and check if they are activated.

Silverlight crashes with 3381 here. XP Sp3.

Can anyone else confirm the issue?

When choosing a search engine beside the address bar does not offer closure. The offer must be closed manually by clicking in the search bar.

Open http://ie.microsoft.com/testdrive/HTML5/85CSS3_MediaQueries/Default.html and see what happens when you resize the page. Sometimes the layout changes, sometimes not...

I made a video to show the problem http://openvideo.dailymotion.com/video/xd79pd_problem-with-css3-media-query-and-w
