M2 Compose New Email Automatic Hyperlinking
Hello,Is there a way to automatically make web addresses that I paste into the compose window turn into hyperlinks? If you paste many links in one email, you have to manually hyperlink each one, otherwise the addresses just display as simple text. Is there a way to fix this that I am missing? Thanks.
Adam
Compose emails in plain text mode and the URLs will be converted to links automatically. Although they don't show as hyperlinks in the compose window, you can check that they are working hyperlinks by previewing in the drafts folder.

Not really. It's a known deficiency.
It works if you copy rich text and paste it into the body field of a compose window that's in HTML formatting mode. For example:
test.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8">
<title></title>
<script>
window.addEventListener("DOMContentLoaded", function() {
document.designMode = 'on';
}, false);
</script>
</head>
<body>
<a href="http://www.google.com/">http://www.google.com/</a>
</body>
</html>
Load that page, select the link, copy the selection and paste it into the compose window's body field.
