Updates does not replace previous version
Hi I tried to find if this topic has been raised but cannot find any similar post.I use win7 64, everytime did the update eg 10.51 to 10.52, opera doesn't replace the old version so I always ended having 2 sets of opera in the programs list. If I remove the old version, I still can run the new one but with black background, then have to run the repair to make it normal again.
The same problem happened again when I update from 10.52 to 10.53, should I uninstall first for new update?
Thanks

Effectively, I advise you to uninstall completely the previous version before installing the new one.
Delete all paths which are :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Opera
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Opera
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Opera
after the uninstallation to make sure there will be no interferences.
Now you can install the lastest version (but your preferences won't be saved from the previous version).
