[SOLVED] Opera Icon in KDE System Tray
I just finished installing Kubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx 64bit on my new laptop. I installed Opera 10.52 and it is great (except that it crashes every time I close, but no big deal). I've been using Opera since version 7 or something like that. While Opera is open, it puts a small icon in the lower right area of the KDE system tray. I really don't need it taking up space there. Is there a way to remove that icon?

its easy
open Preferences Editor (write opera:config in address bar and hit enter)
Use tray as query string in the search bar, and uncheck Show tray icon
Hi. Thanks for the response. I just found another way also. If I right-click in a blank area of the tray and go to System Tray Settings > Auto Hide, then I can set the preferences for any icons that appear in the system tray. I set Opera to hidden. Options are good
