Widget drop down selector button & others
I had my 9.5 (approx) opera setup just nicely - had not had to change anything for well over a year (a good sign that I had it right). My setup had also been copied with satisfaction by a large number of friends, associates and clients. Along comes this spate of upgrades - 3 in a week (10.51, 52 & now 53) and my customizations are no more. One of the things I miss a lot is a button giving me a drop down list of Widgets to select from - a heck of a lot more convenient than having to pop open the panels, select the widgets panel and then the required widget (usually a currency converter, translator or calculator but I had a dozen in regular use). A new widget drop down button, someone, please.
Another loss is the smiley / frowny / growly faced button that changed opera (smiley) to pretend it was mozilla (frowny) or IEeeek (growly).
While I am at it, could someone advise on how to remove all references (menu items etc) to Unite and Synchronize. I think I saw somewhere the instructions on removing all references to the built-in email so I could probably manage that. These things are not required in my world and only serve to get new or basic users into confusing situations.
Any help with these issues would be greatly appreciated by this Kiwi.

I have resorted to making individual buttons/menu entries for Widgets I need. For example a button with..Execute program,"C:\Users\Nailz\AppData\Local\Custom Button Manager\Custom Button Manager.exe",,"Custom Button Generator","Panel Widgets"

Start here @ http://my.opera.com/Tamil/blog/edit-menu-setup .. then its a matter of going through the INIs looking for keywords, its not rocketscience. ;-)
[Browser Tools Common Menu] Item, MI_IDM_HistoryWindow = Manage, "history",,,"Menu History" Item, MI_IDM_DownloadWindow = Manage, "transfers",,,"Menu Transfers" Include, Internal Webserver Menu Include, Internal Sync Menu
Removing the last 2 lines will take care of the entries in the Tools menu.
