cookie problem on per site configuration

In opera I block cookies by default on the main config.

for sites like forums I tend to enable 'accept cookies only for the site I visit' (so no 3rd party) and untick ask me before accepting cookies as that blocks.

Since upgrading to 10.53 I see 2 problems.

1 - all my sites are set to block when previously allowed.
2 - I can select and save the 'accept cookies only for the site I visit' but the ask before accpting cookies wont stay unticked.

Also on this forum its set to blocked yet I am staying logged in.

an update.

1- when I set the option for this site, I immediatly was logged out and unable to log back in.
2 - in the main preferences, I then selected enable cookies, whilst this selected unticked ask me before accepting cookies, and then selected never accept cookies again.
3 - now I can login to this site again and the ask me before accepting cookies is always ghosted out on per site settings.
4 - sites such as youtube I can only login when enable cookies is enabled globally, ie. I goto the tools menu -> quick preferences -> tick enable cookies. Even allowing 3rd party cookies (allow all cookies) in the per site configuration will not allow me to stay logged in on youtube, cookies has to be enabled globally in opera.

I dont know the last version of opera this worked properly in but it wasnt that long ago. If someone can please confirm this then I will do a bug report.

I get occasional cookie issues like this, and have my setting to request accept/reject cookies on each site. Rob

I believe I have fixed the issue.

I had to set enable cookies to 6 in the user prefs manually, seems now if you disable in the main preferences window it also overides per site settings. Although I think this still allows session cookies globally.
