I want the text cursor. (Vs. 10.53)

I'm running Vs. 10.53, Win XP 32 home.

Is there a way to make it so when I move my mouse cursor over non-hyperlinked text it’ll turn into the “text selection” cursor? (like in IE)
Otherwise I don’t know if my cursor is over actual text or just flash text or an image etc.

If I can’t rectify this I’m going with FF instead of Opera.
