Importing bookmarks from Opera browser on another hard drive.

Hello! I was wondering if someone could help me. I just installed a second hard drive on my pc and loaded the latest version of Opera on to it. I tried to import my opera links from the old hard drive which is still installed on the same pc, but don't know how to access them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Wrong forum, should have been in <a href="http://my.opera.com/community/forums/forum.dml?id=26">Opera Browser</a> or one of the platform specific ones (Linux, Mac, Windows).

Couple things you can do.

#1. File - Import and Export - Import Opera Bookmarks
Or: Settings - Important and Export - Import Opera Bookmarks

Navigate to the profile folder for the other installation, assuming you are on Windows, then somewhere around this area:
..\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Opera\Opera\*
Unless you have MultiUser=0 enabled, then its just ..\Program Files\Opera\Profile\*

Select the "bookmarks.adr" and open it.

#2. Or from within "Bookmark Manager", click on the "File" (button) then Import Opera Bookmarks, and same thing, find your bookmark file in the profile directory.

#3. Or if you haven't added any bookmarks to the newer installation yet, then simply go to "File" (button) and "Open", and select the old Bookmarks file.

#4. Or when both of them aren't runnning, simply copy the "bookmarks.adr" file from the profile of the older one, to the profile of the newer one.

Easiest way to find where your bookmarks.adr file is, is go <a href="opera:about">here</a> and see what it says under "Bookmarks", or you can go <a href="opera:config#Hot List File Ver2">here</a>
