Bookmark without Dialog
Is it possible to disable the dialog box that opens up when bookmarking? For example, in Firefox you press the star, I was wondering if there was a similar button (or one could be customized) such that it saves to the currently selected bookmark folder without me having to see the dialog box. (And, yes, I know that you can drag and drop, but my current Windows Panel only setup prevents this from working).Thanks.
Not that I know of... not a "smooth" one anyways.
<a href="opera:/button/Add%20to%20bookmarks,-1,,523656101,%22New%20Bookmark%22%20&%20Click%20default%20button">This</a> button works, it bookmarks the current page, into the last active folder (last folder you saved a bookmark to, or last opened), which shows the dialog, but then it automatically presses "OK" which saves/closes the dialog.
Depending on the speed of your computer, or times where Opera might be under load, you might have to add a delay.
Base:
Add to bookmarks,-1,,523656101,"New Bookmark" & Click default button
With <a href="opera:/button/Add%20to%20bookmarks,-1,,523656101,%22New%20Bookmark%22%20&%20Delay,%20250%20&%20Click%20default%20button">Delay</a>:
Add to bookmarks,-1,,523656101,"New Bookmark" & Delay, 250 & Click default button
(it's in milliseconds)
You can also remove the "-1" to just bookmark it into the main/root of your bookmarks.

Thanks for this, this works well for my setup; though, it would be nice for Opera to bring back the bookmark star feature (in the address field, if I remember correctly) they had in the 9.x browser series at some point.

Using this is risky; Opera 10.5x versions has this awful can't add duplicate bookmarks bug(/feature) which makes Opera show you a "bookmark properties" dialog, instead of "add bookmark", if you have the same page already bookmarked ANYWHERE in the bookmarks.
Your custom buttons/actions might be affected too. And in a way that an user possibly would not notice what happened.
Opera 10.10, debugged 10.63, showstopper bugs: Open in background tabs focus order problem (MDI) Tab focus order is lost after restart Minimized tabs get maximized after restart
Sure, but nothing bad would happen... it would just "OK" out of the bookmark properties dialog.
It wouldn't bookmark the page, but... they already have it bookmarked anyways.
