Opera Won't Open
I have downloaded the newest version of Opera 10.53. The application icon is sitting on my desktop. BUT, if I drag the icon to my Applications folder, double-clicking the icon does nothing. A brief flash appears in the window, but the application does not open. If I double-click the icon on the desktop, then Opera opens correctly. For some reason, I can't place the application in my Applications folder.Does anyone know what is wrong. I never had this problem with Opera before.
I use a Macintosh Powerbook G4, under OS 10.4.11.

I had the same problem, see http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=553021
But the problem might go away by itself. If it is still there, file an Opera bug report, because I can't reproduce this behavior anymore.
