Idea: FastForward and Rewind buttons in addressfield

Probably all browsers have some sort of icons in the addressfield. All have the RSS/atom feed icons, opera has widgets in addition when available, and chrome has extensions for that area.

I was thinking about the FastForward and Rewind buttons and what a nice position for them that would be. They would appear immediately after the address or at the end of the bar if they are available.

Currently these buttons take space on the addressbar and most of the time they are inactive. Also, the addressfield is a more logical position for them since they don't have a lot to do with historical navigation but with specific site navigation.

Do you think the idea is nice? Would you enjoy this "feature"?

No. If you like them near the address field just place the rewind button on the left of it, and the fast forward button on the right of it. Or put them both on the Start bar.

The URL field is for the address text. Information icons about RSS or security are different to browsing buttons.
