Various problems since o10.50 up tp 10.52
I have several problems with Opera and other things1. What does the green bullet on a tabs' upper right corner mean?
2. I hate that Arrange options are that far away ... Opera, give me back the Minimize on each window
3. Javascript popup (like confirm etc) are cut off if the originating window is narrow ... see attachment
4. How can I set the size of a new tab window? I sit in front of 2560x1600 ... and EACH window opera opens is way to wide. I want to be able to define AT LEAST the width of a new window. Pls make this possible
5. Something like "minimize/close all but locked tab" would also be nice ...
Martin
PS: Not even file upload works ... I attached a file and it disappears ... incredible :-((

Ad 1. That is used by some skins to indicate that new content has been loaded in this tab, and not yet looked at.
Ad 5. "Locked Tabs" are now called "Pinned Tabs", but both terms mean exactly they same:
these tabs will not be closed when you issue a "Close all Tabs" command. The "Minimize all" command, however, minimizes pinned tabs as well.
As to the "Attach File" command here in the forums, it does work, but using it requires one more button to be clicked than is usual in other forums:
1. Click the "File Attach" button and chose your file
2. Click the "Upload" button
3. Once the upload has finished, click the "Attach File" button
Thanks for the help, I indeed missed the Attach file stuff
So here i go and upload and attach the pic to show what my point 3 meant.

Well, if the window width is less than that of of the alert box, what else could Opera do about it?
I don't think users would want Opera to enlarge their manually resized windows every time an alert box etc. pops up. As long as the alert box controls can still be reached and used, doing nothing seems like the reasonable choice.
About your other complaint: 2. I hate that Arrange options are that far away ... Opera, give me back the Minimize on each window
Opera is the most customizable of all browsers. If you are missing the minimize icon on windows/pages, create a replacement. Keyboard commands, buttons, menu entries, and mouse gestures are available to execute the "Minimize" command with. Or use the creativity of other users.
Just one example: here is a list of buttons, just click on the Minimize one, it will be added to your button collection, and you can put it on a bar of your choice.
