Can I Download An Older Opera Version From Somewhere?
I can't find anywhere that has the version before 10.5x, I think it's 10.10. I've just reached that point where I've lost my patience with 10.5x, because it causes too many problems on my system. And that's a pity, because in terms of features I really like it.But it crashes several times a day, locking the system solid and requiring a hard reset. It might be just displaying a page, or when I select a menu, or playing videos (on average one in four Youtube etc videos causes a lockup). Also, my default zoom is 150%, and when not on 1:1 zoom, many websites especially blogs have artifacts- mysterious impenetrable blocks appear on the left side of the screen, obscuring the content, like floating block elements that aren't supposed to be there.
I presume it's the new rendering engine. But I can't find anybody else having these problems, so I guess it's just my old system not being up to the job, and that's a pity because when it's working it's much faster than 10.10, and I like it. But having to restart the system this often, well it's too much of a pain. So I would like to revert to an older version, and I wonder if anyone can point me at a 10.10 download anywhere?
I am sorry to be negative. Since nobody else seems to have these bugs, I doubt they're going to be fixed, so it is either an older Opera, or some other browser, and I don't like the others at all. I've been using Opera since version 6, back when I had to pay for it, though I did dally a little with Firefox when it came out, but ended up not liking it that much.
Anyway, if anyone can tell me where to get the older Opera, I would much appreciate it. Thanks in advance for any replies.
