"Look Up in Dictionary" (system) shortcut not working

Hi,

I have set a system-wide services shortcut for "Look Up in Dictionary" to "⌃⌘Ⅾ", which sort of worked in 10.10 (I had to manually invoke it once via Services menu). Now, it doesn't work at all, and the Services menu is completely empty.

Regards,

Unfortunately, the services menu doesn’t work properly in 10.52. We will hopefully resolve this for our next release.

So unwise of me to adopt too early :o|

I have tried the latest beta build, but still no services menu. Please consider this a very important issue!

Can I use my 1050 preferences with 10.10? Or will I end up in (dll) hell?

Regards,
Klaus

I made an short article detailing how to set up the dictionary shortcut in Snow Leopard for use in Opera 10.60 (currently only available as an Alpha release).
