Opera Often Causing My MacBook Pro To Run Hotter

When I use Opera for a good length of time at certain websites, my MacBook Pro's processor often reaches nearly 100% CPUs causing fairly high operating temperatures.
Why would using Opera cause this issue?

Can you give examples of sites that causes this?

The sites I have encountered that causes the machine to run hot have all used Flash to display video, there seems to be something wrong in the current version of the Flash plug-in. I reported this as a bug to Adobe - https://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FP-4334 - but has not seen any comments on it yet.
