Just remove the restart button from the transfers panel toolbar and use the right-click context menu option instead, which is much harder to do by accident.

It is a nice idea, but I don't think my wish is too hard to the Opera team to implement. In fact, Opera already has that Confirm Dialog, when you try to close the browser with a download running.
So, they just need to copy this same dialog to these buttons. Making the browser more user friendly is not bad. smile

When you click the close button you may not be aware that a transfer is running in the background. If you click the restart button in the Transfers panel, it is very obvious that a transfer is running. Adding unnecessary confirmation dialogues does not make the browser user-friendly. Either remove the button or don't click it — if you click it by mistake then put the mistake down to experience.

agreed, removing the "restart" button if it annoys you is really not hard.
but kudos for the fuuu-cartoon bigsmile
