10.53 still doesn't clear the last tab

using clear private data "close all tabs" or just closing the last tab open still leaves the page displayed in a static state with some corruption. If you minimize the window and expand it back the page is cleared.

I cannot confirm that. If I open Tools > Delete Private Data... and select Close all tabs only and then Delete, all tabs are being closed, including the last one and then the Speed Dial page is displayed. Does this happen every time or just at times? I think I had this problem too, but it happened very rarely and when Opera had many opened tabs and used a huge amount of RAM.

Happens every time. I doesn't happen in 10.10. I don't use speed dial. Interestingly if I minimize or maximize or just drag the window corner slightly, the page clears.
