Some tabs lose their favicons

I don't know why or when this happens, it's somewhat random to me. I just browse Facebook and other sites, open tabs from the links of the sites, and when I look at the tabs, a few have no favicon. I googled this and I couldn't find anyone with this issue.
When I first load the page, it loads the favicon. But at some point in the middle, it's just gone...
This started to happen with 10.51 and still happens with 10.53. Version 10.50 didn't have this issue.

Any clues??

This happens to me too (sometimes), although I couldn't say when it started, as I never took much notice of it.

This bugs me because I rely on the favicon to quickly know what site is in the tab, and also to know if the page is still loading or not.
I wonder if this is something particular of my installation, as it seems no one else is having this problem.
