Opera 10.53 automatically overwrote install of 10 10
I was going to install 10.53 in a seperate folder from 10.10, but when I downloaded and ran it, it quickly overwrote 10.10. I didn't even get a chance to specify a folder.Did I do something wrong here. Thankfully it was on the test computer, but I'll hold off on the other computers for now...
Depending on which installer you are using (been awhile since I used 'Classic' not sure if it's changed) but the MSI (dark blue/purple icon) changed recently, you have to click the "Options" button to change things like location, where to place shortcuts, and another option I forget... Otherwise it will overwrite whichever Opera is set as your default (if you have more than one).

It first asks you where to install, if the folder you specify already has a Opera installation it will prompt if its okay to update.I was going to install 10.53 in a seperate folder from 10.10, but when I downloaded and ran it, it quickly overwrote 10.10. Enabling "Use same profile for all users on this computer" will put all the files needed in Operas profile folder. (Instead of \Documents & Settings\ or \Users\)
http://www.opera.com/browser/download/?os=windows&ver=10.53&local=y - Click Advanced Options.
