it takes too long to get nicks AUTH'd

It takes too long to get nicks AUTH'd. i re-registered my nick over a month ago and i was told an AUTH code was sent to my e-mail inbox. well, it's well over a month and i haven't received anything. i can't re-register unless i don't chat for 42 days. the whole system needs an overhaul, i think. thanks.
