How to stay on currently opened tab while opening a new tab ?
Is there any way to stay on current tab while opening a new tab in Opera 10.53 ? Because of this feature I don't use Opera. Every time you open a new tab the browser would send you to a newly opened tab which is very annoying and discomforting. So please suggest some solution to turn it off. Thanks,
Sincerely

Easiest way is with a mouse gesture. You can add/edit mouse gestures in Preferences, Shortcuts, Mouse Setup.
GestureDown = Open link in background page | New page
Hold RMB and drag down over a link to open it in the background. Dragging elsewhere will open a new tab.

...and if you don't want to customize them, the default mouse gestures for new tabs are:
GestureDown = Open link in new page | New page
GestureDown, GestureUp = Open link in background page | Duplicate page
(The action after the '|' is taken if the gesture is not made with a link as the starting point.)
