Why two Opera forums?

Why two Opera forums?

Something I've always wondered about regarding the forums ...

There is "Opera for Desktop", the the forum "Opera Browser".

There is also "Opera Desktop Platforms" , then the forum "Opera for Windows".

Are these not the same? What is the difference?

Would make it simpler if there was just one forum, would it not?

I think its a bit different, Opera for desktop is for PCs, not limited to windows, Opera browser is the wide-platform, then the Opera for windows limited for Windows OSes.

The current forum layout feels messy. In an upcoming redesign we're doing some updates how the forum looks and feel for new and existing users. Hopefully this will fix issues like this.

Working as intended.
