Opera 10.53 Issues!

Hello,
Though Opera is a great browser, the latest update really bugs me as it seems to have major issues with loading, displaying and logging-in on some big websites such as deviantART (I can't log in anymore for some odd reason, while I still can with FF, I can't display some special script messages while I can with FF, and DA pages load real slow) and PlayStation Boards (I always get an error message when trying to log-in so I need to try again and again and again to succeed). I cleared my cash and cookies (I have the auto-clear option at exit already ticked) and I still have those issues.

So please fix your browser guys to help it keep up with the competition and not lose your faithful users.

Regards,

Opera 10.53 Issues!

Hello,
Though Opera is a great browser, the latest update really bugs me...

I'm having trouble with the newest version of Opera, 10.53. I have been using Opera Browser for about a year and loved it. It was the best, until I downloaded 10.53. I'm on a Macintosh and any time I use my keyboard for entering text, copying, pasting, or just ENTER, I see a multi colored wheele spinning for about a minute. The previous browser never had an issue like this. I can't imagine what's wrong. I'm using Safari Browser right now because it would take FOREVER to type this message in the new Opera. I hope someone can tell me what is wrong or someone fix the problem. I would like to remove the new Opera Browser 10.53 and go back to the previous version. Where can I find it?

Thanks
Joan:

http://www.opera.com/download/
click on "advanced options" and then click on "show other versions" and select your OS

or go to http://arc.opera.com/pub/opera/
but this one has the very very old versions only

Joan, I think I have a similar problem because I can't use the Text Editor on PlayStation Boards, which are HTML based, unless I go for the most basic text formatting options knowing that I don't have this problem in FF. Good that you mentioned your OS, I'm on Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium.

Gaegouli, thanks for the tip; I'll try it!

PS. I'm using the Private Tab method to log-in to deviantART, which is what I used to do for Facebook; so solve this please and stop trying to enhance what doesn't need to be enhanced; enough with the updates already! Release a good and flawless final version and have a break and give us a break!

Rendering bug during scrolling is still present (when tooltips are visible).

Also, I can't open downloaded files directly anymore. The "Open" button is always disabled, which forces me to save the file.

Drives me mad too, however it's not an Opera problem, it's a problem that Lithium (the makers of the Playstation forums software) can't write standards compliant code. Go complain to them (or Sony).
