display issues for www.laposte.net
laposte.net is a popular webmail in Franceafter you login, the main page of the site shows :
- the date on top-left
- on the right of the date, there is a sentence that gives the name of the day (fête in France)
- below, a clickable button "retour a l'accueil" that allows to go back to the login page
- on the right of teh clickable button, a link "envoyer une carte" that links to http://lescartes.laposte.net/
In Opera 10.53, all 4 items are the one above the others and are impossible to select. I am not 100% sure, but i believe it worked with some past versions of opera (but the site code may have been changed rather than opera having a new bug... i really don't know)
No such issue with IE8 or Chrome 4 as with these 2 browsers, all 4 items are properly displayed and can be selected separately
Also, i have problems to download attachments from my email at laposte.net :
- until opera 10.5, i could not download any attachment (opera considered any attachment in the email to be a html file and only proposed to download a html file instead of the real attachment) but the size of the attachment was always reported correctly (for example if the attachment was a 4 MB video, opera proposed to download a html file of 4 MB). But downloading the attachment as xxx.htm and renaming with the extension (mpg for example) never gave me a valid file
- with opera 10.51 or 10.52, it seemed to work with several type (jpg, bmp ... etc)
- with opera 10.53, i have again the issue mentioned above for some type of file for which i did not have issue in 10.51 or 10.52
The problems mention above are inconsistent through my successive Opera updates. I mean that some have been fixed, some are fixed in one update and then come back in the next ...
I upgraded to Opera 11.10 with the new Presto engine and i had again high expectations that theses issues would be all fixed. From what i see so far most of them (if not all of them) are fixed apparently. I will monitor the behavior in the coming weeks.
