Problem with Messenger on Opera Unite

Hi at all, I'm new and sorry for my english, I ain't english bigsmile

I have a problem with Messenger on Opera Unite. When i open it, it shows only "loading..." (in italian version "Caricamento...") and I wait for much time, but it's still "loading". So, I tried to cancel Messenger and re-download it, but the problem remains. What can I do?

Thanks to all up

Well I can not tell you if that is displayed when you do not have any friends but something is wrong. I just do not know what could be the problem. I guess you should submit a bug to Opera. Now a days the Opera support person(s) do not stop by and leave any helpful information to people problems with Unite in this forum.
Thanks in Advance...

Hello , I might want to tell you that the Unite massager is a Opera to Opera kinda Application for now . I don't think that it is a cross platform system like Opera to IE. I don't think that I ever got it to work. eek let me correct myself on that , I just finished talking to another OperaUnite user chating with the Unite messenger for a 2 hours . so I stand corrected it does work for me in Opera unite running . but it is a opera community to opera community thing still. I is a little slow in relaying the message, but it does work. I am running 10.54 3394 Opera . I even has that cute pop up message window if you have operaunite running in the back ground

cheers!!

Well since I was the other Opera Unite person mentioned I only saw one problem in our two hour conversation.
  • The display of my sent message, to my message area object, was immediate as you would expect. This was before the message area object had to present a scrollbar object.
  • Once the scrollbar was displayed I would only see my sent messages after a message was sent to me.
This seems to be a simple mistake on the programming side of the Messenger Unite application. That is, your sent messages is displayed to your message area object immediately even if your message area object is implementing a scrollbar object. Should not have to wait for an event from an incoming message to trigger the scrollbar object to display your initial sent message.

But then all bets are off is this can not be recreated or other people do not see this problem... lol
Thanks in Advance...
