Opera Link RSS sync

Hi,

I'd like to suggest a new feature to Opera Link.

Since I use two computers on daily basis and I find opera RSS reader very comfortable, I would really appreciate option to sync channels - and most of all - read and unread status.
I know that I could use an online reader - Google or something similar, but it is not really that comfortable as the Opera integrated reader.

Thank you in advance for considering my suggestion

Check the forums before posting. This has been asked for many times before. It's a good suggestion and needs to be added to Opera Link but it's an old one.
I for one welcome our browser overlord. All hail Opera

I agree - I love Opera Link, but I think this is the one piece that's missing.

Plz ADD THIS feature. It´s so very important! Such a hassle to synchronize via junction/dropbox workaround!
And dont tell me it´s a hard thing to implement...

That would add the last bit to make opera THE netbook & mobile browser...

Cheers,
Rogurt

I reformatted my computer recently and was relying on Opera Link to keep all of my data, but I had forgotten that it doesn't sync RSS feeds! sad

Yeah, I don't even use Opera's RSS reader anymore, for this reason. I just use Google Reader now. (Actually, I use Opera's reader to fetch the feed of all my Google Reader items, to let me know when there's new stuff. Then I read them on the GR site.)

Using Google Reader also allows me to check my feeds from any browser, so I'm actually not sure that I would start using Opera's reader even if this was added. But it would sure make it more attractive.

I dislike workarounds too. using files section in my.opera.com is better on a distance. But I want synchronisation by Opera Link.

For feeds, news, chats, email and normal passwords. Wanted restriction: Master-password must be activated on all installation that may use one of these items and TLS is used for transfer, due to security needs!

As all my feeds have just disappeared from Opera Reader I can only agree with all of the above.

another +1 - Opera's handling of RSS is about the best client available on Windows (and I've tried them all) - syncing between my various PC's would be great.

Yes! Having my RSS feeds synced would be a dream come true, seriously. I split my time between using my Notebook at college and my other laptop everywhere else and seeing that I'm following over 120 active feeds, it's really just SUCH a hassle to either have duplicate feeds on both computers and having to delete a thousand a day or having to restrict myself to one computer and not be able to reach them literally half of the time due to using the other computer.

This is the wish list that doesn't seem to be implemented. Why wouldn't the Opera guys listen? It's not a big deal!!
Get life. Get Opera.
