Opera Fonts
I just read an article today in the LA Times regarding fonts released for use on the web (this was news to me, but apparently web designers could only choose from a few fonts that would be universally displayed on user's computers, whether or not the user actually had the font installed).http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/home_blog/2010/05/the-changing-typography-of-the-web.html
It is interesting. However, when I go to one of the sites mentioned that serves up the freshly available fonts, it does not work in Opera--all fonts are shown looking precisely the same. It works fine in IE8, Chrome, and FF, showing the different fonts.

I have the feeling this is because of an Opera setting overriding the intended font. However, it seems that the fonts in these instances should not necessarily be overridden (particularly in a catalog of fonts, but also on web pages using the fonts).
Perhaps these newly available font capabilities are something that Opera designers need to consider in the design of Opera (Caracken).

Looks like a scripting related problem. Try refresh display and the fonts'll show up. I don't know if it's on Opera's side or on the script author's side (though I suspect the latter), but it's a bug of some sorts, not a missing feature.

Sure enough.
Refreshing the Typekit page makes those fonts show up properly.
And, given that no refreshing is required for the fonts to show up properly in the other demos, linked above, it appears that the Typekit issue may be a bug on Typekit's page (though I am not sure of that--no refreshing was required in IE8, FF, or Chrome).
