Logitech Setpoint Support

It's been widely reported by end users that sideways scrolling using mouse wheel tilt on Logitech mice isn't working in Opera 10.5x builds, which means that Opera isn't allowing Logitechs Setpoint software to function.

I've been keeping up with the latest builds, but am disappointed this hasn't been officially fixed.

Does anyone have an interim workaround to the issue?

Personally I find Opera little short of excellent; but don't use many of it's superfluous whistles and bells...

I presume, by the absence of responses, that there's absolutely no workaround for this?

Shame. It's annoying on my desktop at 1680 x 1050, but is an absolute killer on my 10" netbook...

I've had to adopt another browser for my portable machine because even 'fit to width' doesn't really work on such a small display.

I would imagine the Opera-devs are already working on a fix? left

Be nice to also be able to set Adobe Reader to open PDF's safely within the browser instead of externally, it used to work fine until at least v10.1, but once I went to 10.52 and beyond, well, PDF's began freezing the browser if displayed within a tab...

Fortunate Adobe provide the option to specify open PDF's outside of your browser process... devil

Confirmed... Opera 10.5X has huge issues with setpoint-based logitech mouses, as reported here.

Issues:
- pressing the mouse wheel does not work / does not open a link in a hidden tab (heavily affecting work productivity)
- autoscroll does not work (usually should work while pressing the mousewheel and moving the mouse into different directions) (neither does horizontal scroll)
Opera 10.10 didn't have those problems, so i'm still stuck with it. :|
Please devs, solve this. I think that a lot of users out there use regoularly logitech mouses..
