decent Adblocking for Opera..?

I know its possible to create a url-filter which blocks ad's in the page but this leaves out two important things..

1) the browser still downloads the adverts which slows down page-loading (downloading)
2) leaves big gaps where the ad's were

Im a big Firefox fan and it is a very fast browser (if not the fastest) if you enable pipelining tweaks in the settings and use AdBlock Plus which also blocks downloading of these adverts and closes up gaps left by them too..

However, I read that Opera is now the fastest browser (matched against un-tweaked firefox) and would like to give it a go,

is there a decent tool/tweak that does the same job as Adblock Plus...?
i reckon it will be one mean sucker if it could, im loving the GUI and features so far...

thanks
