Opera 10.53 Is way buggy
After installing this newest version, there's some major issues that I have noted so far and they are:- Sometimes the browser will auto scroll down a web page on it's own.
- When creating an email- I have had them just disappear when working on them- they just vanish into thin air- gone. Not saved in drafts either.
- When moving the window around the monitor- it is jerky and not smooth at all.
- When using other applications such as Preview, I get pop up boxes that are associated with the Panel sidebar such as notes, contacts etc showing up at random places on the Opera window- very peculiar behavior.
- On certain sites such as Hotmail, the screen flashes when over certain links.
- When exiting Opera, I have received a crash report.
- When attempting to drag an attachment and add it to an email, it does not work with jpg or png files. Seems to work with PDFs and a few others but, so far, it doesn't work with picture files for some reason.
I am going back to 10.10 as it worked better than this version here. Sure wish that there was a way to improve the test methodology that is used to test Opera before releasing it.

There is a sticky post in this forum detailing how you should go about reporting bugs to get them fixed.

Thank you. I am aware of the bug reporting area. I am tired of reporting bugs everytime I use 10.5.x I just want to use it and enjoy it not have to find a root cause failure mode which, is what I do at work as a professional engineer. I get tired of having to troubleshoot why it's not working. I posted it here so that others may take note of the bugs that I found.
I am going to stay with 10.10 as it works better than 10.5.
