hotmail login I have A with a wavey line on top

In my hotmail login I have A with a wavey line on top near the login boxes and near bottom of page.
Is that a virus script ? Because when I login it seems to crash/freeze my Opera browser. Next time when I open Opera browser it says Operamail fail to initialize and close down the browser.

Screen shot below. Please tell me what you guys think it is ?

I have the same Opera version browser on other computer, but it doesn't have this "A" .
