Is there a way to downgrade and keep ALL settings?

I want to downgrade from my current version of opera 10.53 to a previous version. Is it possible to do that AND KEEP ALL settings?

The following is just a rant, you can skip the next wall of paragraph(s) because it is only my opinion as to why i want to downgrade.
First of all, for the record, i deeply respect opera browser. I have used it for over 12 years and have never stopped using it. Even though i have firefox installed as an alternative browser, i use opera over 95% of the time, the only time i don't use it is when i have trouble viewing certain websites.
Now before i upgraded my opera i had some version like 9.64. Now you can defintely tell that i haven't upgraded for a while. The reason was because i was too lazy to do so and i just put it off until recently i decided to upgrade it, hoping it would solve some website viewing issues. To my surprise, this new version is terrible. It uses up 3x more memory/ram than before, sometimes would significantly slow down my computer for absoutely no reason and i'm running this on a intel duo core @2.00ghz with 2gb ram. I am getting totally pissed at how slow this new version is that i decided to download a previous version i used and installed it right away. Unfortunately all my settings did not get transfered or restored and i have to do everything again, from passwords to my personal layout preferences and hotkeys/shortcuts, bookmarks, etc you get the idea.
Now i let both opera browsers running for an hour. The new version(the one i'm complaining about being slow) i'm using is taking up 300,000 K memory, while the old version i just previously installed is only taking up 100,000 K. That's 3x less memory and it runs so much faster. What is going on here? Not only that the new version crashes constantly for no reason and way more often than my previous version. This is so upsetting, i thought upgrades were suppose to be good but in this case, it isn't. Oh and as to firefox is also running and out of the other two it is taking up the least memory.

Ok i'm pretty sure that there are lots of complaints out there and some people are actually enjoying the new version and that there's nothing wrong with it. But with my computer specifications, i'm just deeply shocked as to why i can't even run the new version. Why is this new version doing this? For gods sakes it's just a browser, keep it simple, don't overload a person's cpu with whatever you are doing.

I regret upgrading the browser. I just want to downgrade back and keep all settings and everything i have that was transferred to the new version.

Nevermind. I just needed to download a newer version then 9.64 but lower than 10.5 for the upgrade option to appear.
