Can't clear cache

Can someone help me figure out where a cached file is lurking?

Recently my host made some changes in folder locations which forced me to re-edit thousands of HTML files. That is finished.

However, somehow Opera insists on loading older files. I can't figure out how. I have download the new copies via FTP and opened them in other software and confirm everything is okay on the server end. However, when I follow the links through my own web site, on some pages (not all!) Opera mysteriously pulls up an old copy ... and the links in that won't work.

I've tried Tools -> delete private data, I have even tried physically deleting the ~/user/.opera/cache folder and even the ~/user/.opera/profiles/opcache folder. (On next launch, Opera restores the missing folders but at least I know they don't contain any old files.)

Is there anywhere else Opera could be storing old copies of the former versions HTML documents? I am using both Opera sync and turbo ... but I cannot find any way that those make use of the cache files. I tried disabling them, but the problem persists.

How can I chase down and eliminate all former versions of HTML files which have been modified?
