Predictive Typing

I am using Opera 10.53. When I use F2 to enter an address or a query, the first letter I type opens a window with a list trying to predict what I will type next. As I progress the list changes. This is annoying to me, and I'd like to turn it off. How do I do that?

Disable Autodropdown

Be aware, though, that it disables autocomplete everywhere, and it is very useful when editing keyboard shortcuts in Preferences, Shortcuts, Keyboard and Mouse setup, Edit, since it provides a list of valid commands if you type in a few letters.

That's a valid point, but it doesn't answer the question

It does. Click the link and disable autodropdown, i.e. change the default to off. You will turn off autocomplete in all dropdowns.

You're right. It does. I missed that the first time around.
Thank you.
