scrolling, fonts and animations

hello, i just upgraded from opera 10.10 to 10.53 somethings i've noticed (mac 10.6)

1. the scrolling acts completely differently under 10.53 i would like to know if there is an option to restore the old 10.10 style scrolling?

2. maybe for the first time opera 10.53 actually looks at my font preferences.... but i noticed a lot of pages are being drawn with a different font under 10.53 and 10.10 and while i know how to change the font i have no clue what the default font was

3. animations. my computer is 3.5 years old but still well strong enough, but i'd like to turn off animations. example. adding/removing a new tab animates the title bar. is there a way to disable animations?

How is it different? opera:config#UserPrefs|SmoothScrolling maybe?
