solution for the stretch thumbnail in new speed dial

On the last speed dial changes the image is stretch to hill the slot instead of been in the middle! Lots of people say it look ugly..

If you already know how to change the speed dial thumbnail, take the original picture and put in on a transparent back ground.

Thanks for the tip. There is ten minutes of my life I will never have back.

Absolutely RIDICULOUS that we have to do this. I can't imagine anyone was pounding on OS's doors demanding they uglify speed dial or else.

it means use you old icon/logo. However you need to put that logo/icon on a new transparent background that size of the thumbnail window in speed dial.

if you still don't get it, get tamil to write you a tutorial on his blog bigsmile

What are the dimensions of these new thumbnails in SpeeDial? Does the transparent background has to be exactly the same dimensions? confused

It depends on the number of rows and col display on speed dial.

The best way is to look at the thumbnails in C:\Users\Durian\AppData\Local\Opera\Opera\thumbnails
Choose any picture check the pixel width and height.

Its really easy to use paint.net to make transparent png
