Download FLV videos from any site using Opera!
As much as i love Opera it lacked one feature that is a given in other browsers- downloading flash videos. Ofcourse there are scripts that can help you do that but they are available for only select/popular sites. Last week i came across a free software from iWisoft that lets you download FLV videos from almost any video site. It sits in the system tray and each time you play a video from youtube or any other video site, a small popup appears asking to download the video. Simple. It works with Opera, Safari, Maxthon etc.Here's the link: http://www.iwisoft.com/videodownloader/index.php
I've been using it for a week and scanned it with Norton Internet Security 2010 and works pretty cool. Check it out and let me know

We can actually bookmarked this PAGE & set it as a panel, then we have something similar to stream media capturer.
However, the problem is it doesn't auto-rename the file to match the page title like other media capturer, & there are too little details displayed to identify the source of the captured streams.

There must be a billion files in that cache folder.![]()
How the hell do you locate the correct file ? Especially if its a small video.
There is probably an easier way but
what I do is select all the video formats by placing a check on
mp4
flv
mpeg
x-flv
and then click on Preview all domains
In the results page If I see the file or one that comes from the address I'm interested I just save the file by right clicking and selecting
Save Linked Content As...

If you like to add the function, Grab video in page, to the right-click-in-page-blank menu,
try this:
1.find your menu file being used.Where is it? opera:config#UserPrefs|MenuConfiguration, type it in the address field,it shows where it is;
2.then find out [Document Popup Menu] in the menu file,which is the content of right-click-in-page-blank menu;
3.add this below [Document Popup Menu]:
Item, "Grab video in page"=Execute program, "F:\Program Files\Orbitdownloader\grab.exe","%u"
of course,the grab.exe's path is mine,change it to yours
4.save the menu file and restart Opera

The "get it" button not appearing in Opera is an old problem and still not resolved. You'll have to use the Grab++ utility to get your videos.

You don't need to send the address to Grab++, because Grab++ will automatically monitor Opera if you setup the monitor function correctly. This is all you need:
Item, "Grab++"=Execute program, "F:\Program Files\Orbitdownloader\grab.exe"

Orbit no longer support Opera since 9.5, the support for Opera have stopped long ago. Thus only partial functionalities are working properly with Opera, the "Get it" feature never implanted into Opera because Opera do not allow 3rd party software to alter Opera's internal behavior. You still can use Grab++ to capture the stream media.
Anyway, if grabbing streaming videos is all you want then you could try this also:
http://www.freevideozilla.com/features.html
It's develop by the same team that developing Orbitdownloader.
or URL Snooper, which did the same thing:
