[3386] Widget Woe: Missing from Panel
For the past few builds I have three widgets installed, Opera's own Currency Converter*, Huang Kai's Unit Converter, and Risidoro's multiWeather. When Opera SW changed the directory structure [again!] a few builds back I went with it in regard widgets since my own structure wouldn't work [bad enough]. Usually start widgets from within Opera, using the Widgtes Panel. Guess how surprised I was when I updated right now to the newest build [3386] and found multiWeather missing from the panel; it is still accessible through Windows Start, and it resides in Opera's default directory for widgets. In short: There seems to be a bug in widget handling with 3386.
*Seems to be gone from the download site.
Confirmed.
Comparable weirdness here. Same circumstances.
Plenty of Widgets are invisible in Widget Panel, some of the missing get launched double clicking on the grey *author line* in the panel beside another widget's icon and below this other widget's name. Double clicking over a widget's name or icon does indeed lauch what ought to be expected.

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience. «« « ‹‹ ‹
Yes, backflip (or even click left button, then right button, release, or vice-versa) makes them reappear... This bug is annoying...
