10.51, .52, .53 creeps on Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit

I reverted back to 10.50 because .51, .52, and .53 creep. Not so noticeable on XP Pro or XP Home (32 bit). Though still slower that 10.50. I am disappointed.

Are there work arounds or 'new' settings I need to apply?

not really, but you are lucky, 10.50 is working for you, I would have to go to 9.54 to get a real working one...
I hope the next version is going to be a good maintenance release.

You could try a complete clean install, for some people this worked out really good, but the most have problems...

Actually, I have backed down to version 10.10.

Worse case would be to load Opera in Windows XP Mode.

I'll wait for another release and try it.
