Back button improvements

I have a few problems/suggestions for Opera's back button.
I think that I should be able to right click the back button and be able to choose from a list of previous pages like this Firefox screenshot shows:

Also I should be able to middle click the back button open the previous page in a new tab.
The same should go for the refresh and home buttons so that I can easily duplicate the tab or open my home page in a different tab.

1. Click And Hold (about 1 second) it will show the list of previous pages.

2. Not possible for the Back/Forward buttons (at one time I think it was)... but for almost anything else (including buttons and menus) you can use Shift+Click to open it in a new tab, or Ctrl+Shift+Click to open it in a new background tab.

What version of Opera are you using?

In 10.10 and previous versions: Right click over any ToolBar >> Customize >> Appearance. In the newly opened dialog box, select Buttons >> Browser

Select the Back button with the down arrow beside it and drag it to toolbar where you want it to appear. Click OK to close the dialog.

Now, clicking that down arrow will show a list of previously visited sites in that tab.

Don't know if this works above ver 10.10

Never fear, the back button with the drop-down arrow is still available in 10.54.

The middle clicking the back button for a tab of your previous page is one of the features I miss most from chrome. It's not used very often, but very handy when you do use it, like when you forgot something on the last page, but don't want to lose your current spot on the new page.

It's an extra step, but you could clone the tab, then hit back.

Middle click to open in a new tab should be available everywhere. Right now, it's pretty not available outside a normal page. Bookmarks and previous / next dropdown are missing this feature. wink
