Delete Junk and NonJunk filters

In my mail I always have Junk and NonJunk filters, which I can't delete. Each time I delete the and check e-mail the are recreated. If I delete them in index.ini they are recreated too. Opera 10.53. As far as I remember they were present all the time I'm using opera mail (for a couple of years).
Searching for forum I found similar problems for Gmail, but no answer how to completely remove this labels. Is there a way?

Are you using Fastmail? Or, is this an IMAP account that you've used Thunderbird to access it before?

In Opera, when you view the junk and nonjunk message lists, if there are any messages in them, ctrl+a to select all the messages, right-click on the selection and choose "remove from view". Then, right-click on the junk and nonjunk filters and choose delete.

Then, they should not reappear.

Basically, I think Thunderbird adds junk and nonjunk IMAP keywords to messages (since Gmail's IMAP server seems to support or allow them, partially because of http://www.ietf.org/id/draft-ietf-morg-list-specialuse-01.txt ).

Since Opera supports IMAP keywords, it will automatically create filters for keywords found on messages. This is normal, expected, and nothing to worry about. For example, Fastmail's IMAP server creates a bunch of filters by default.

There may be an option to turn this off in Thunderbird so it doesn't add the flags to messages.
