*** widget directory ***
HI,1. Need to know the default directory of Opera widgets (and the file extension, see attached jpeg). I mean if for eg. I close a particular widget, that I have been using on the desktop, how can I use the same again, given the fact that I disabled the "start menu" option while downloading the widgets itself.
2. thanx.
india.
Welcome!
At the moment I can tell you only exact path for Windows 7. By default it is "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\WidgetName" (but you can change it during installation). As Opera 10.50 runs widgets as standalone applications, extension of file is ".exe".
In Windows XP it will be probably "%USERPROFILE%\Application Data\WidgetName".
Well, I can't see it.
If You're running Opera at the time - you can display Widgets panel (show panels by pressing F4) and run selected widget.

1. Thanx. The F4 shortcut helped.
2. [related]: Given that with the latest Opera (10.50), the widgets run as stand-alone applications, so why is that everytime I do a system shutdown and the subsequent reboot, the widgets(which were, prior to the shutdown, running independently of the browser) don't load automatically. I guess, what I am asking is: Is there a way to activate, load the widgets (independently), without my prompting) on system start up, itself. ( Some messing with msconfig.sys?)
