Exclude certain cookies from "Delete all cookies"

We all frequent sites where you need to log on to use certain privelages. This one is a perfect example. However, in order to properly wipe one's cookies while still maintaining easy logins you need to use the Password Manager. Not only does this store passwords, but it also requires you to spend time logging on to every site every time. It doesn't take long, but the wasted time still builds up to an unnecessarily large amount. My wish is for a feature to be incorporated into the cookie manager that allows the user to choose whether or not to exclude specific cookies from the deletion of private data. As an alternative to storing passwords, users could simply choose to already be logged in when they visit certain sites. It's an invaluable time saver. Firefox already has a useful addon that allows it to do this.

It's already available since the ancient times, it's called DELETE TEMPORARY COOKIES.
Please read the Opera Help manual to learn more, press F1 or go here:

Also, please search the forum for related topic before posting request. wink

That's not what I meant. There are non-temporary cookies that don't need to be kept around. Like Opera's lack of Flashblock and Whitelisting for certain sites with "Blocked Content," Opera's cookie deletion is all or nothing without an option to delete some non-temporary cookies while leaving the others intact. In fact, I tried deleting temporary cookies to see if you were right only to find that the ones I wanted to get rid of, cookies for sites I hadn't logged into, were still there. This feature has only been around since ancient times in Firefox.

As of now, "Delete all cookies" is the only reliable method of clearing out all the junk without doing it manually. This also gets rid of useful cookies, where as "Delete temporary cookies" leaves useless ones. That's the point of excluding cookies from deletion. It allows one to delete all the junk, temporary or not, while still retaining login cookies. That's not currently possible in Opera even though it should be. If Firefox, CCleaner, Spybot and probably others can include cookie exclusion since at least 100 years ago, it wouldn't in any way hurt Opera to follow suit. In fact, it'd just be one more reason to use it instead of the swiss army knife of browsers.

Completely support request. I don't give a damn what is 'temporary cookie', 'session cookie', whatever. There is only one type of cookies - which come from server. And it could be nice to 'lock' some of 'em from eventual deleting.
