Not able to view embedded content.

I used to be able to view embedded content with Mini, almost. I'd click a blank spot on the page and I'd get an error message "unable to view <name>.swf or whatever. I can't do this in Mobile and was wondering if there's a workaround for this - other than contacting the blogger, and asking for a link.
