10.53 When using search bar cannot select "find in page" or "history search"

I am using 10.53 with XP. When I type into the search box and then click the drop down box to select the type of search the "find in page" and "history search" does not appear as an option. When I select "manage search engines" they do appear there. The only way I can get find in page to work is to select it as my default search engine. All the other search options like google, ask, yahoo do appear in the drop down box. Any ideas?

This is still a problem that should be fixed. I still cannot access "history search" via the search bar. Apparently the dropdown box ignores any search engine that does not have a URL attached.
