Ugly white lines between title bar and Opera itself

Well. There's this flaw that bugs me for years now and I'm finally fed up enough with it to post here and ask for a solution.

I'm using Opera on Ubuntu. And there's an ugly white line under the window's title bar and above the bottom window frame.

See this screenshot:

The reason is not that I'm using Emerald for drawing the window frames. The lines are there with metacity as well.

Is there any way to get rid of those lines?

The image you posted is too small to distinguish any features.

In any case, Opera is currently actively working on the improvement of the Linux builds. (The Windows and Mac versions are a bit ahead in the development status). I suggest you follow their progress here http://my.opera.com/desktopteam/blog/

Not.
This link that choci posted is only a 150 x 84 pixel png image. There is no web page, script or url to click

It opens the full size image in a new tab when I click on it.

Aaahh... with a different link. The original link posted has a .th. in the link and that only opens a tiny thumbnail, while your link does not include the .th. part and it opens the full picture.

Perhaps the original link has been changed since you clicked on it

Don't know about that.
Clicking on the thumbnail image worked for me the first time I came into this thread, a mere 4 minutes after your first post.

It worked (then) and works fine for me too.

The original image posted has ".th", but link doesn't.

Not confirmed. As far as I remember, I've seen that post even before your first answer.

Eight answers till now, and no single one on topic bigsmile.
