Opera Mail Filter problem
I make use of the filtering feature a lot in sorting my emails. But since version 10 onwards the filter will not display a 'sent' email. I was hoping this would get fixed but its still is a problem in ver 10.53. Unless I'm doing something wrong.?All emails initially display in either the 'sent' or 'received' folders. When you select an email in the 'received' folder and select the command to 'show in' and then select the designated filter it will no longer display in the 'received' folder but in the designated filter. The actual account folder still shows the email. That is okay.
If I do the same to an email in the 'sent' folder it also disappears from the sent folder but will not appear in the designated filter. It is still viewable in the account folder.
Any ideas about this? Thanks
Okay, I understand now that its all to do with the view control button of the particular filter window and making sure that the 'show sent' button is ticked under the show header.
Prior to ver 10 the 'show sent' button must have been ticked by default when setting up a new filter and I didn't have a need to utilise the view control.
