Request: http://wiki.opera.com/

Request: Have a wiki, it can be used for various things. An example of it's use would be documentation of many things.

I made this aware of that wiki's existence.

A Wiki type site/section would be good, but not a broad/general wiki, just one related to Opera Software, how they work, what can be done on them, etc, and how they interact with the Operating Systems they run on.

OperaWiki.info is a mess, most of the time I end up just figuring stuff out myself since it's quicker, which is partly why I started creating my own Opera related sites (which means I would be happy to support an open-wiki that has a usable layout).

Besides, OperaWiki isn't connected to opera.com (both for accounts, and navigation)

There are external sites for userjs also but I'm still waiting for userjs.opera.com. They are very distinct entities. Hosted from an opera domain shows some buy-in and support.

How about making it possible to add a wiki to My-Opera groups - similar to the option to add forums to groups? For me this seems to make more sense and fits better into the My-Opera experience.

However.. what if you are the creator of said wiki.. how are you to know all that hard work (that took you nearly 12 hours to complete) isn't going to be destroyed in 2 minute by a new member of the said wiki adds or subtracts information he/she feels is not relvant..

An integral part of the Wiki experience is the history function which allows to undo any change. Also if the wikis are attached to groups write access could be restricted to group members and the group moderators could be the wiki administrators.

Not a particularly fantastic site (as of yet) at least not the english stuff (japanese seems further along), but there's this site as well.
